Welcome to my Math Web Page...
...where you can see what we’re up to and the places we’re headed.
Although the information found here is valuable, the most important thing I can share with you is my goal. My goal is to help you reach your goal!
I am always eager to share my love and enthusiasm for math and teaching. So, please, always ask your questions.
Materials needed for class
You will need to have your homework, notebook, assignment notebook (agenda) and a pencil every day. Mistakes happen so I request that pencils are used at all times during class and on assignments. Additional materials such as a graph paper, ruler, or calculator may be needed from time to time.
Grading
Students will receive an academic grade that will be made up of homework, classwork, projects, quizzes and tests. Homework is assigned on daily basis but not collected and/or graded daily. Each assignment should take approximately 20-30 minutes per night. Check grades on " Parent Portal " or " Student Portal "
Grading Scale
A 90 to 100
B 80 to 90
C 70 to 80
D 60 to 70
F 59 and below
Absences
It is the student's responsibility to pick up or ask what needs to be completed due to an absence. All tests and quizzes need to be made up within one week of the student's absence.
Classroom Expectations
I expect a classroom of mutual respect and continuous learning. I expect that each student comes to class prepared with their materials, homework, questions and a desire to do their best. In turn, you can expect the same from me!
